In secret, she takes it out to read every morning and revels in this great love. Once she met Him, she was no longer the same, her old life no longer hers. She was His...completed, faithful and longing for the day she would be with Him forever.<br /><br />Have we hidden things in secret places that no one has discovered? Perhaps we concealed ourselves during childhood games and no one could find us.<br /><br />When we give our lives to Jesus, we are hidden in Him, our sins covered by His sacrificial blood. Our failures, mistakes, guilt and shame are no longer seen with heavenly eyes and are never to be found again.&nbsp; <br /><br />Christ becomes our new life.&nbsp; He has freed us from our trangressive chains that once held us down.&nbsp; Now, everything&nbsp;we do, everything we say, should imitate Him to bring glory to our heavenly Father's name. <br /><br /><em>"For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory." We read page after page looking for the party and realize the wait for an answered prayer continues.<br /><br />Day after day, the words we have written are the same, yet no answer comes.<br /><br />Disappointment hits our faith like a fist in the stomach and for a moment we think that God does not care.<br /><br />When the anguish in our soul tries to smother out our hope and faith in Jesus…we must turn to God’s Word and set our minds on the things of God…the things above, not earthly things.</em><br /><br /><em>"If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. 4 When Christ who is our life appears, then you also will appear with Him in glory."<br />Col 3:1-4 (NKJV) </em><br /><br /><em>Discouragement comes when we begin to focus on our earthly problems yet when we think on the things of heaven, on the place our Lord resides, that is when our heart fills with peace and satisfaction.</em><br /><br /><em>Imagine His face, His eyes, His smile, smiling at you…yes, that is where our souls can rest.</em><div class="blogger-post-footer"><img width='1' height='1' src='https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/tracker/8816363762089708889-2976773964352603392?l=nodoubtministries.blogspot.com' alt='' /></div>SRedmonnoreply@blogger.com1
